NEW YEAR'S

 Despedimos el 2011 en familia, como hacia mucho que no lo hacíamos. Estuve con mi primos, mis tíos,mis abuelos y mi nuevo sobrinito, que celebraba su primera nochevieja.

Cava, adornos dorados, vestiditos, tacones altos, fuegos artificiales, las campanadas de La1, una búsqueda desesperada de algo rojo a dos minutos de las 12! Todos celebrando la despedida del 2010.

We said the 2010 goodbye all together, as we did many years ago. I was with my cousins, my uncles, my grandparents and my new nephew, who lived his first new year's eve.

NAVIDAD 2010

¿Que tal el día de navidad? Para mi ha sido totalmente familiar. Me he despertado y he desayunado Girgerbread boys! he estado charlando con mis padres y leyendo un rato. He ayudado a mi madre a hacer la comida de navidad y he elegido para la ocasión el vestido negro de Cóctel que me regalaron por mi cumple.

Es un vestido de ZARA que me pe puesto con los tacones negros de la cremallera dorada, de ZARA también, y un cinturón de mi madre que tenia en el armario desde hace tiempo.

Ha venido mi familia a comer y por la tarde hemos estado mi hermana, mi cuñada y yo viendo pelis tiradas en el sofá.

How was your Christmas day? For me it was a very family day. I woke up and had a Girgerbread boys breakfast! I've been chatting with my parents and reading a little. I helped my mom to make Chrsitmas meal and I chose for the occasion the Black cocktail dress that I got for my birthday.

It is from ZARA and I also wore black heels with the gold zip from ZARA too. A belt from my mother's closet gived the color touch.

In the afternoon my sister, my sister in law and I saw many movies laying on the sofa.

 Ayer en nocebuena, después de la cena me entraron unas ganas tremenda de ver Sexo en NY, la primera película...no se por que! si no es nada navideña!. Este verano me traje la serie entera porque había visto antes las pelis y me habían encantado. Era la primera vez que volvía a ver la peli después de entender toda la historia y fue empezar a sonar "Labels of love" y no poder parar de llorar. Parecía tonta! Pero verla dejando su apartamento vacío para empezar una nueva vida con Big, dejar los manolos en el ropero y ver unidas a las cuatro otra vez...me emociono. En fin...a veces me doy miedo :) 

Yesterday, at Christmas eve, after dinner I was on a Sex and the City mood, so I watched the first movie ... I don't know why, if it is not a Christmas movie!. 

This summer I saw the whole show because I had seen the movies before and I was delighted.

It was the first time I came to see the movie after understanding the whole story and from the moment that "Labels of Love" started sounding I was unable to stop cying. It seemed silly! But seeing her leaving her empty apartment to start a new life with Big, leave the Manolos in the closet and see them, all four, together again ... I got excited. Well ... sometimes I fear myself :)

GINGERBREAD BOYS

Los he hecho! con los ingredientes que compre en Florida y la receta de mi tía (lo siento, me dijo que es secreta así que no puedo publicarla).

Me encantan, son muy navideños y quedan monisimos para ofrecer a los invitados es Noche buena y navidad.

Es la primera vez que los hago y la verdad es que no me han quedado mal.

I made it! My aunt's recipe (sorry, She said it's a secret so I can not publish it) with ingredients that I purchased in Florida .I love them, They are really cute for Christmas Eve.

This the first time that I do them and the truth is that they look o.k.

XMAS TREES SECTION!

Ha llegado el invierno y aprovecho para estrenar la sección de árboles de navidad. YA ESTA ABIERTA! podéis ver los arboles que me habéis ido mandando estos días. Muchas gracias a todos los que se han molestado en enviarme las fotos, me encanta ver como habéis decorado el árbol. Hay de todo, materiales ecológicos, arboles hechos por niños de primaria, arboles clásicos, arboles modernos, dorados, rojos, azules... entrad a verlos y quien quiera que este el suyo puede seguir mandando fotos.

A MI CASA YA HA LLEGADO LA NAVIDAD

Ya hemos puesto el árbol! puede decirse que ha llegado la navidad a casa. Mi hermana y yo hemos estrenado el árbol que compramos en IKEA y lo hemos llenado de adornos rojos (sobretodo lacitos y regalos) mientras sonaban mis villancicos preferidos. Que ambiente navideño!

We've got our the tree! Now I can say that Christmas has arrive home. My sister and I have released the tree we bought at IKEA and we've filled it with some red stuff (mostly bows and gifts) while we were listening my favorite carols. What a christmas atmosphere!

Me encantan los arboles de un solo color, pero sin duda el árbol mas bonito que he visto nunca es, como no, el que Dan le regala a Serena en la primera temporada de Gossip Girl: sin adornos, tan solo luces blancas por todo el árbol y un enorme lazo rojo arriba del todo.
De mayor tendré ese árbol! me apasiona. Tan sencillo, pero tan elegante.

I love single color trees, but surely the most beautiful tree I've ever seen is, of course, the one that Dan gives to Serena in the first Gossip Girl' season: without ornaments, just white lights all over the tree and a huge red ribbon at the top.I will have that tree when I'm older! I love it. So simple, but that elegant.
